FAU Pharmacy Services Available!!

The FAU Pharmacy is a full service pharmacy serving FAU students, faculty, staff and other community members. The Pharmacy is located on the Boca campus above the Breezeway Food Court on the second floor of the Student Services Building (SS8).

A wide selection of over-the-counter items and prescription medications are maintained or are typically available within 24 hours. Prescriptions may be transferred to the FAU Pharmacy from community pharmacies with your permission.

Students

No Insurance?
FAU students without insurance coverage will receive discounted pricing.

Already have Insurance?
FAU students with prescription drug insurance coverage will be charged according to reimbursement criteria established by their insurance company. The FAU Pharmacy accepts most prescription plans. However, they are not able to accept Vista or Medicare/Medicaid.  Please call the Pharmacy at 561-297-0072 to see if we accept your prescription drug card.

If purchasing their prescription medication at the FAU Pharmacy, students covered by the FAU Student Health Plan will be responsible for the applicable co-pay which is less than the co-pay which would be paid at other UnitedHealthcare Network Pharmacies.

Not attending classes in Boca?
If you are not attending classes at the Boca Raton campus, you may still have your prescriptions filled by the FAU Pharmacy and mailed directly to your home for a small shipping fee. For further information, see our FAQs for instructions.

Not registered this semester?
If you are not a registered student this semester, you may still make purchases, but you will not receive the discounted student rates unless you are eligible to pay the Visitor Fee. Click here to view our eligibility and Visitor Fee information.

Faculty/Staff/Other Community Members

FAU employees and other community members without insurance coverage will receive pricing that is competitive with community pharmacies. Please call the FAU Pharmacy at (561) 297-0072 or email pharmacy@fau.edu for further information. (Do not email confidential personal health information; please call instead.)
